Terms of Service — Test Chain

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Test Chain, operated by Sugarssoft (“we”, “us”). By creating a workspace or otherwise using the service you agree to these Terms.

The service

Test Chain records and replays browser flows through a transparent HTTP proxy. It is provided as-is for testing web applications you own or are authorized to test.

Your responsibilities

Authorization. You may only proxy, record, and replay flows against applications you own or have explicit permission to test. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the target application's terms and with applicable law.
Account security. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your workspace.
Acceptable use. You must not use Test Chain to attack, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any system, to scrape data unlawfully, or for any illegal purpose.
Data you enter. You are responsible for the data you record into suites, including any credentials or personal data, and for having the right to process it.

Third-party services

Certain features route data through third parties (Mailsac for email testing, OpenAI or Anthropic for AI steps). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is shared.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change or be discontinued.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sugarssoft is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Test Chain is a testing tool; you are responsible for verifying test results before relying on them.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
